Strong winds that may make driving difficult are expected. When: Tonight Where: Okanagan Connector Additional information: A strong Pacific frontal system will move through the interior tonight. Strong southwesterly winds gusting up to 90 km/h are expected, particularly in sections susceptible to strong cross winds. Driving conditions will likely be difficult. High-sided vehicles will be pushed around by the wind. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Road conditions are available at drivebc.ca. Strong southwesterly winds gusting up to 80 km/h are expected. When: Tonight Where: Parts of the BC interior including: Similkameen, Nicola, South Thompson, Fraser Canyon, North Okanagan, Chilcotin, Lakes District, Stuart-Nechako, Prince George, Cariboo and Yellowhead. The Coquihalla Highway, Highway 3 - Hope to Princeton Highway and Yellowhead Highway will also be affected. Additional information: A strong Pacific frontal system will move through the interior bringing gusty southwesterly winds lasting until tonight. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Road conditions are available at drivebc.ca.
