SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT

Snow expected over highway passes. Where: Kootenay Pass. When: Tomorrow morning into Saturday afternoon. What: Snow accumulations up to 10 cm with low visibilities at times. Remarks: A cold trough will move into the interior tonight resulting in snow levels dropping to near 1500 metres. Snow near Kootenay Pass is expected to start tomorrow morning, and will persist into Saturday afternoon. The heaviest snow is expected on Saturday with total snow accumulations up to 10 cm before the snow tapers to a few flurries by late Saturday afternoon.. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Road conditions are available at drivebc.ca.     • Use the Tab key to move to a button or link
    • Use the Enter key to click on buttons or links
    • Organize shortcuts navigation
      • Use the ↑ Up key to select the link above. If none are selected, it will select the first link.
      • Use the ↓ Down key to select the link below. If none are selected, it will select the last link.
      • Use the Page Up key to move a selection up in the list.
      • Use the Page Down key to move a selection down in the list.
  • Restore default list
