Where: Exposed sections of East Vancouver Island from Nanoose Bay to Campbell River, Sunshine Coast, Greater Victoria, Gulf Islands, southwestern Metro Vancouver including Richmond and Delta. What: Southeasterly winds 70 km/h gusting to 90. When: This afternoon. Additional Information: A strong low pressure system will impact coastal B.C. this afternoon generating very strong southeasterly winds of 70 km/h gusting to 90. Winds will ease below warning criteria early this evening but will remain gusty out of the southwest until Friday morning. Local utility outages are possible. Disruptions to services and travel are possible. Secure loose objects. Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
