Significant rainfall event on tap. Duration: from Monday evening to Tuesday evening. Location: Amqui and Matane Threats: Heavy rainfall is expected for roughly 24 hours. Areas of Amqui and Matane will see between 30 and 60 millimetres of rain. The rain will fall particularly quickly Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday evening. Heavy downpours may cause flash flooding and ponding on roads. Context: a low pressure system will move slowly across the Maritimes and Eastern Quebec and may linger for a few days.
