Snowfall Warning in effect for:
  • Tadoussac - Baie-Sainte-Catherine area

First significant snowfall event of the season What: 15 to 20 centimetres of additional snow When: until Tuesday morning Where: La Tuque, Laurentian Wildlife Reserve, Saguenay, Lac Saint-Jean. Additional information: Rain could also become mixed with snow at times in areas near the St. Lawrence River. The highest snowfall amounts are expected over higher elevations. In addition, freezing rain is expected tonight in the Laurentian Wildlife Reserve. These conditions could make roads snowy and slippery, making travel difficult on Monday. Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Allow extra time for travel. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to snowfall accumulations.
