The snow is expected to transition to rain near Lake Ontario this afternoon and then back over to snow this evening where an additional 1 to 2 cm of accumulation is possible before the snow tapers off. Travel will likely be challenging. Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Allow extra time for travel.
