A major system will intensify today over the U.S. Eastern Seaboard and will affect the Maritimes and Eastern Quebec beginning Tuesday late in the day.
Once again, snow, strong winds and blowing snow will hit the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula, Anticosti and the Lower North Shore; the storm could leave total snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 centimetres, but these amounts could change as the storm's exact track remains to be determined.
