Rainfall warning in effect for:

  • Prince County P.E.I.

Rainfall - after midnight to afternoon Thursday.

Rain, at times heavy, is expected. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall.

A low pressure system over Maine will move south of Nova Scotia today where it will remain nearly stationary on Thursday.
Periods of rain associated with this feature will develop overnight tonight and change to periods of snow mixed with
ice pellets Thursday afternoon. Rainfall amounts of up to 30 millimetres are expected.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.

Rainfall Warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
