Risk of freezing rain Tuesday.
There is a risk of freezing rain as an area of precipitation moves into the area late Tuesday morning through afternoon.
Current indications suggest that the area most likely to see freezing rain appears to be the Ottawa River Valley from Hawkesbury to Ottawa to Pembroke in the afternoon. It is possible that any freezing rain that does occur could take several hours to change over to rain.
Environment Canada meteorologists continue to monitor this situation closely and issue a freezing rain warning if required.
Travel may become difficult at times due to slippery roads and walkways. Motorists should consider allowing extra time to reach their destination.
