Southern Ontario remains entrenched in a chilly airmass as northerly winds in advance of a large high pressure ridge over Lake Michigan continue to pump in air from the Arctic.
As a result, under clear skies and light winds, temperatures will dip to near the zero degree mark after midnight in many areas. Thus frost is likely overnight and early Sunday morning.
Tender plants should be protected or brought indoors if possible this evening.
Temperatures will rebound quickly Sunday morning under the strong may sunshine.
Frost may be an issue to deal with again in some locales Sunday night and early Monday morning.
