Snowfall warning in effect for:
Snowfall, with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected.
A low pressure centre has developed over the Northwest Territories and will move towards Victoria Island bringing 10 to 15 cm of snow. In addition to the snow strong northwest winds of 50 gusting to 70 km/h will develop overnight. These winds combined with recent snow will give visibilities of less than one kilometre at times Saturday morning. Conditions are forecast to improve Saturday afternoon.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Snowfall Warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
