Extreme Cold Warning in effect for:
A period of very cold wind chills is expected.
An arctic high pressure ridge building into northern Manitoba is giving temperatures in the minus thirties, which combined with winds of 15 to 20 km/h is producing extreme wind chills of -45 or colder early this morning. Conditions should moderate by noon today as temperatures climb a few degrees.
