Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.
A series of Pacific storms are set to hit the BC central Coast for the next two days. Strong southeasterly winds 60 to 80 km/h has developed over Northern Vancouver Island and Central Coast - coastal sections. Winds will rise to 90 km/h Tuesday morning and gradually diminish in the evening. As another system approaches the BC coast early Wednesday, strong southeast winds will redevelop on Wednesday.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
