Wind warning in effect for:
- Sunshine Coast
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.
A series of Pacific storms are set to cross the BC Coast over the next few days. Strong southeasterly winds of 70 km/h will develop
over East and West Vancouver Island, and the Sunshine Coast this morning. The strong winds will ease late this afternoon.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
