Snowfall warning in effect for:

  • Trans-Canada Highway - Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass

A long period of snowfall, with total amounts of 25 to 30 cm is expected.

Snow over the Trans Canada Highway - Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass will
continue tonight as another front crosses the Interior. Additional snow amounts near 10 cm can be expected by Wednesday morning before the snow tapers off to a few flurries.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
