  • Cardston Co. near Magrath and Woolford Prov. Park
  • Cardston Co. near Mountain View and Beazer
  • M.D. of Willow Creek near Fort Macleod
  • M.D. of Willow Creek near Granum and Peigan Timber Limit

Strong winds - late morning Thursday to evening Thursday.

Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

A low pressure centre is forecast to develop over Alberta by Thursday morning bringing strong winds to the Pincher Creek and Cardston regions. Winds will strengthen through Thursday morning with gusts to 100 km/h expected by the afternoon.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
