Eastern Lake ErieIssued 00:01 AM EDT 02 September 2014 Thunderstorms in a line extending from southeast of Long Point to near Port Colborne continue to move east across the lake tonight. There is some potential for wind gusts of 35 to 40 knots from these thunderstorms. Frequent lightning and heavy downpours reducing visibility to less than 1 mile are also possible. Mariners should remain in port until the thunderstorms pass by.
