At 3:00 a.m. ADT Friday high located over Quebec.
By 3:00 p.m. ADT Friday high located over Maine.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT today Hurricane Edouard 960 mb located at 39.1N
By 9:00 p.m. ADT tonight weakening Tropical Storm Edouard 964 mb
located at 40.2N 40.4W.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:05 PM ADT 17 September 2014 Tropical cyclone information:

As of 8:00 P.M. ADT hurricane Edouard was located near 38.3
North 50.0 west, or approximately 565 NM east-southeast of Sable
Island. Edouard is moving northeast at 23 knots with maximum
sustained winds of 75 knots and central pressure of 958 MB.

Edouard will not have any impact on winds over maritime marine
waters. It will generate swells of 3 to 4 metres over Laurentian Fan
tonight, with swells of 2 to 3 metres possible as far north as the
Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia tonight into Thursday morning.
