Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 8:00 PM ADT 15 April 2014 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 992 mb located southwest of Labrador.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday low 988 mb located over western Labrador.
By 9:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday low 972 mb located over Labrador Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday cold front from 988 mb low located over
Labrador extending southwestward.
By 9:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday cold front located from Labrador Sea
to Banquereau then to Laurentian Fan.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 6:18 PM ADT 15 April 2014 Strong southwesterlies over the district will become strong to gale
force southerlies tonight as a cold front approaches the region.
The cold front will track across the district Wednesday. Winds will
shift to strong northwesterlies in the wake of the front with gales
in Anticosti.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
