Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:24 PM NST 6 December 2013 A trough of low pressure currently over Nova Scotia will move across
Newfoundland tonight and across the Grand Banks on Saturday. Strong
to gale force southerlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to
gale force westerlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Southwest Coast - Ramea and east, South Coast, East Coast, Belle Isle
Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Northern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Strait of Belle Isle and Belle Isle Bank.
