Technical Marine SynopsisIssued 10:00 AM NDT 23 September 2014 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today low 969 mb located over eastern Labrador
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 970 mb located northeast of Labrador Sea.
At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over southern Labrador Coast.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located east of Belle Isle Bank.
At 10:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary high 1036 mb located
southeast of the Grand Banks.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:57 AM NDT 23 September 2014 An intense low pressure system over the East Labrador Sea will move
to lie near Greenland by this evening. A trough associated with the
low will cross the marine district today. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies ahead of the trough will diminish as it passes.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the South Coast and the Southwestern Grand Banks.
