Issued 10:00 AM NDT 18 April 2014 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
eastern Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located east of the Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today low 992 mb located over the Great Lakes.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday low 988 mb located over western Labrador.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough from low located over the Maritimes.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday trough from low located north of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:25 PM NDT 18 April 2014 A low pressure system south of Nova Scotia will track northeastward
to pass just southeast of the Avalon Peninsula Saturday afternoon
then over the Northern Grand Banks by the evening. Strong to gale
force south to southeasterlies will spread across southeastern waters
Saturday morning ahead of this feature.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
northern and Southeastern Grand Banks.
