Issued 3:00 AM NDT 24 May 2013 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today low 1005 mb located near the Gaspe Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 1006 mb located north of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today cold front from 1005 mb low located over
Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday cold front located from Belle Isle Bank
to Northeast Gulf.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located southeast
of the Grand Banks.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:50 AM NDT 24 May 2013 A low pressure system approaching from the Gaspé Peninsula will track
northeast through Southern Labrador today and north of the marine
district tonight. Strong to gale force southerlies over eastern
offshore waters will diminish late in the day Saturday as the low
moves away.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Funk Island Bank.
