Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 10:00 AM NST 26 November 2014 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 974 mb located southeast of Labrador
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing low 973 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday approaching low 992 mb located over
southwestern Nova Scotia.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over New England.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:50 AM NST 26 November 2014 A low pressure system just southeast of the East Labrador Sea will
continue to move eastward to lie southeast of Greenland by this
evening. Over northern waters, gale force southwesterlies will shift
to strong to gale force northwesterlies in the wake of the low.

A second low pressure system will approach western waters Thursday
morning. Strong to gale force east to northeasterlies ahead of the
low will shift to strong to gale force southwesterlies southeast of
the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except East Coast-north of Cape St. Francis and the Southern
Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle.
