Issued 10:00 AM NDT 20 October 2014 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today intensifying low 988 mb located over
southwestern Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday low 974 mb located southeast of Labrador
Sea.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:59 AM NDT 20 October 2014 A rapidly intensifying low pressure system will move northward
through the eastern gulf today before tracking across the South
Labrador Coast this evening and across the South Labrador Sea
tonight. Strong to gale force south to southeasterlies will spread
northwards east of the low. Gale to storm force west to
southwesterlies will develop in the low's wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, and Belle Isle Bank.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except the
Southeastern Grand Banks.
