Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:55 AM NST 5 December 2013 A low pressure system over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland will
slowly track over the Belle Isle Bank today and northeast of the
marine district tonight. North and west of the low, gale to storm
force north to northwesterlies will diminish below gale force this
afternoon or this evening. South and east of the low, gale force west
to southerlies will diminish today.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half. Gale warnings are in effect for
all remaining waters except Southeastern Grand Banks.
