Issued 10:00 AM NDT 19 April 2014 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line east-west over
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today dissipating ridge located over Belle
Isle Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today intensifying low 1012 mb located over
northeastern Laurentian Fan.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Sunday intensifying low 979 mb located east of
Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:50 AM NDT 19 April 2014 An intensifying low pressure system southwest of the Avalon Peninsula
will cross the Northern Grand Banks this evening before moving away
to the northeast on Sunday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies
ahead of the low will shift to strong to gale force north or
northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle
Bank, Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and Southeastern Grand

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effects for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank,
and Funk Island Bank.
