Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:47 PM NST 6 March 2014 An intense low pressure system will remain near stationary just
southeast of Greenland throughout the forecast period. Meanwhile, a
high pressure system over New England will gradually build over
southern portions of the district. Strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies between these two features will eventually back to
strong southwesterlies as the high passes to the south late in the
day on Friday.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
Belle Isle Bank. Marine interests are also advised that freezing
spray warnings are in effect for all waters.
