Coast of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 978 mb located over the East Coast
of the U.S.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Thursday low 978 mb located over southwestern
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:58 AM NDT 12 March 2014 An elongated trough of low pressure extending from Labrador to the
South Coast of Newfoundland will continue to track northeastward
across the district today to lie just east of the Funk Island Bank by
this evening. Strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead of this
feature will veer to moderate to strong southwesterlies in its wake.
A second low pressure system is forecast to develop over the East
Coast of the United States and track into the Gulf of St. Lawrence on
Thursday afternoon. Gale force northeasterlies will spread across all
waters to the northeast of the low's track while gale force
southerlies will develop to the southeast of its track.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
