Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:00 AM ADT 22 September 2014 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today frontal system located from Quebec to the
Gulf of Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight frontal system located east of the Marine
District.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT Tuesday approaching high located over the Great
Lakes.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:37 AM ADT 22 September 2014 A frontal system on a north south line from Anticosti to East Scotian
Slope will continue to move eastward today lying east of the marine
district this evening. Strong to gale force southerlies ahead of this
system will shift to generally strong westerlies in its wake except
over Anticosti where winds will reach gale force this evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait eastern half,
Gulf-Magdalen eastern half and Anticosti.
