At 3:30 p.m. ADT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over eastern Quebec.
By 3:00 p.m. ADT Saturday ridge located over the southern Marine
District.

Issued 3:23 PM ADT 29 August 2014 At 3:00 P.M. ADT Friday post-tropical storm Cristobal was located
near latitude 46.7 north longitude 46.0 west. Maximum sustained
Winds are estimated at 65 knots and central pressure at 978 MB.
Cristobal is moving northeast at 45 knots.

Strong to gale force northerlies over northern and eastern
Waters will gradually diminish tonight as post-tropical storm
Cristobal continues to move away from the marine district.

Mariners interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Eastern shore - eastern half...Sable - eastern half...Fourchu...
Banquereau...Laurentian Fan...Cabot Strait...Northumberland
Strait - eastern half and Gulf Magdalen - southeastern half.
