Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:51 PM ADT 1 October 2014 A low pressure system will slowly approach the marine district from
the south tonight while a ridge of high pressure remains over the
Gulf of St Lawrence. Winds will gradually increase between these two
features tonight to become strong northeasterlies over all but
northern Gulf waters by Thursday afternoon, with gales expected over
most Atlantic waters south of Nova Scotia.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West
Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, southern
half of Banquereau, and Laurentian Fan.
