Issued 8:02 PM ADT 19 August 2014 A cold pool of air in the mid to upper atmosphere combined with warm
sea surface temperatures will give conditions favourable for possible
waterspout formation this tonight. Marine waters including the
Northumberland Strait and the southern half of the Gulf of St
Lawrence are most at risk for these waterspouts.

Mariners are advised to monitor updated forecasts in the event that
warnings are required.
