Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:43 AM AST 9 December 2013 A strong northwesterly flow over the Eastern Gulf of St. Lawrence
will produce freezing spray until the wind diminishes this afternoon.
Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure approaching from south of Cape
Cod is forecast to move across the Maritimes tonight and Tuesday
morning to lie over Newfoundland by Tuesday evening. Strong to
possibly gale force southeasterlies are expected ahead of the trough.
Behind the trough winds will shift to strong to possibly gale force
Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
