Issued 8:00 PM ADT 18 April 2014 Tonight and Saturday At 9:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing high 1038 mb located east
of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1019 mb located over East Scotian
Slope.
By 3:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 1006 mb located northeast of
Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday departing low 999 mb located east of
the Avalon Peninsula.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:42 PM ADT 18 April 2014 A developing low pressure system over the East Scotian Slope
This evening will move slowly northeastward tonight and Saturday.
Strong to gale force northeasterlies over Laurentian Fan will
diminish near midnight.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan.

Outlook for the start-up of the eastern shore lobster fishery...
Sunday..Wind north 20 knots diminishing to variable 10 to 15 in the
afternoon.
Monday..Wind variable 10 to 15 knots increasing to southwest 15 to
20 in the afternoon.
Tuesday..Wind southwest 15 knots diminishing to light.
