Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:44 AM ADT 19 September 2014 A large area of high pressure approaching from Southern Quebec will
track across the southern marine district tonight. Strong to gale
force northwesterlies well ahead of the high will diminish tonight as
it nears the region. Behind the high a trough of low pressure will
approach the district from the west. These two features will combine
to give strong to gale force southwesterlies to most Gulf of St
Lawrence waters on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, and all Gulf of St Lawrence
