Issued 3:30 PM NDT 23 April 2014 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 996 mb located over the southwestern
Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Thursday dissipating low 993 mb located southeast
of the Avalon Peninsula.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today deepening low 994 mb located over the Gulf
of Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Thursday low 986 mb located over Laurentian Fan.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over
Labrador Sea.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:25 PM NDT 23 April 2014 A complex area of low pressure southwest of the marine district will
move to lie south of Newfoundland by this evening. Strong to gale
force east to northeasterlies will develop over much of the district
by Thursday morning ahead of this system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast - Cape
St. Francis and south, and the Northern Grand Banks.
