Issued 3:00 AM AST 24 November 2014 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. AST today ridge located over the Marine District.
By 8:00 a.m. AST today departing ridge located over the eastern
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 976 mb located over western Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Tuesday low 972 mb located over Labrador Sea.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:44 AM AST 24 November 2014 An intense low pressure system will move into Western Quebec later
today and then track into Labrador on Tuesday. Strong to gale force
southerlies will spread across the district ahead of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
marine waters.

Outlook for the start up of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery:

Tuesday..Southwesterly 20 to 25 knots.

Wednesday..Westerly 20 knots diminishing to light in the morning
Then increasing to northeast 15 to 20 late in the day.

Thursday.. Wind northeast 25 to 35 knots diminishing to northwest 20
to 25 late in the day.
