Issued 10:00 AM ADT 23 April 2014 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 994 mb located south of Laurentian Fan.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Thursday weakening low 994 mb located over the
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today deepening low 995 mb located over the Gulf
of Maine.
By 3:00 p.m. ADT Thursday low 984 mb located over East Scotian
Slope.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:57 AM ADT 23 April 2014 A low pressure system over the Gulf of Maine will slide southeast to
lie over the slope waters by Thursday afternoon. Strong to gale
Force easterlies will develop to the northeast of the low later today
while strong to gale force northwesterlies are expected behind the
low on Thursday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher.. Browns Bank.. Georges Bank.. Southwestern shore.. Lahave
Bank.. West Scotian Slope.. Eastern shore.. Sable.. Fourchu..
Banquereau.. Cabot Strait.. Northumberland Strait.. Gulf-Magdalen..
Chaleur-Miscou.. And the southeastern half of Anticosti.
