Issued 3:00 AM ADT 21 September 2014 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today high located south of the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT today trough located from Quebec to Ontario.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday trough located from Labrador Coast to the
St. Lawrence River then to Georges Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday deepening low 996 mb located near Lurcher.
By 9:00 p.m. ADT Monday low 979 mb located off Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:28 AM ADT 21 September 2014 A trough of low pressure will slowly approach the district from the
west today. The trough will gradually cross the district tonight
And Monday. Strong to gale force southwesterlies will persist over
the northern part of the district as the trough approaches.
As the trough moves closer to the district tonight strong to
Gale force southeasterlies will develop ahead of it and shift to
strong southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher eastern half, Browns Bank eastern half, Georges Bank,
southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore,
Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan,
Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait eastern half, Gulf-Magdalen
eastern half and Anticosti eastern half.
