Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 8:00 PM NDT 20 October 2014 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 976 mb located over southern Labrador
Coast.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 987 mb located south of Greenland.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight building high located southwest of
Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday high located over the southern Grand Banks.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:58 PM NDT 20 October 2014 A deep low pressure system will track northeastward across the South
Labrador Sea tonight. Strong to gale force south to southeasterlies
can be expected ahead of the low while gale to storm force west to
southwesterlies can be expected in the low's wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, and Belle Isle Bank.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except the
Southern Grand Banks.
