Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:16 PM ADT 16 September 2014 At 6:00 P.M. ADT hurricane Edouard was located at 32.3 north and 57.5
west. Edouard is moving north at 13 knots with a maximum sustained
wind of 90 knots and central pressure of 958 MB.
Edouard is forecast to turn to the northeast tonight and is not
expected to have any significant impact on maritime marine waters.
Over Laurentian Fan winds will increase to moderate to strong
northerlies with seas of 3 to 4 metres at Edouard's closest pass on
Wednesday evening. Additionally 2 to 3 metre swells can be expected
along the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia Wednesday night into Thursday
