Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:30 PM NDT 21 September 2014 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 1000 mb located south of
Cape Cod.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Monday deepening low 982 mb located over southern
Labrador Coast.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary high 1034 mb located
southeast of the Grand Banks.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:22 PM NDT 21 September 2014 An intensifying low pressure system off the American seaboard will
approach the Maritimes overnight and cross the Gulf of St. Lawrence
on Monday. The low will move to lie over the South Labrador Coast
Monday evening. Gale to storm force south to southwesterlies will
spread across all waters on Monday.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest Coast, Belle Isle Bank
and Funk Island Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.
