By 8:00 p.m. NDT Monday low 976 mb located over southern Labrador
Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:55 PM NDT 19 October 2014 A low pressure system south of Nova Scotia will rapidly intensify as
it tracks northward to lie over the South Labrador Coast by Monday
evening. Strong to gale force south to southeasterlies will develop
ahead of the low then shift to gale to storm force west to
southwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, and Belle Isle Bank.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except the
Southeastern Grand Banks.
