At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located over Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Sunday trough located over Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:55 PM NST 22 November 2014 An intense low pressure system northeast of Belle Isle Bank will
continue to move towards Greenland tonight and Sunday. Strong to gale
force westerlies will persist over most waters throughout the
forecast period except over Belle Isle Bank where storm force
westerlies are expected to persist tonight.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
except Northeast Gulf.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Northeast Coast -
north of Cape St. John, and Belle Isle Bank.
