Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:55 AM NDT 18 April 2014 A low pressure system south of Nova Scotia will track northeastward
to pass just southeast of the Avalon Peninsula Saturday afternoon to
lie over the Northern Grand Banks by Saturday evening. Strong to gale
force south to southeasterlies will spread across southeastern waters
Saturday morning ahead of this feature.
Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect for the
northern and Southeastern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for the Strait of Belle Isle and the Belle Isle Bank.
