Issued 3:30 PM NDT 25 May 2013 Tonight and Sunday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary low 1004 mb located over
the Gulf of Maine.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today warm front located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Sunday warm front located from the Great Northern
Peninsula to Funk Island Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located southeast
of the Grand Banks.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:34 PM NDT 25 May 2013 A low pressure system currently located south of Maine will slowly
move to lie over New Brunswick by late in the day on Sunday. A warm
front associated with this low will move northward through the Gulf
of St. Lawrence by Sunday evening. Strong to gale force northeasterly
winds are forecast ahead of the front along the Quebec north shore.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northeast Gulf - northwestern half and the Gulf - Port au Port -
northwestern half.
