Issued 3:00 AM NDT 25 May 2013 Today Tonight and Sunday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Strait of Belle Isle.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight weakening cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over Funk Island Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located southeast
of the Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today approaching warm front located north of
Cape Breton Island.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:53 AM NDT 25 May 2013 A low pressure system currently located south of Maine will slowly
move to lie over New Brunswick by Sunday afternoon. A warm front
associated with this low will move northward through the Gulf of St.
Lawrence by Sunday evening. Strong to gale force northeasterly winds
are forecast ahead of the front along the Quebec north shore.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northeast Gulf and Gulf-Port au Port-northwestern half.
