Issued 3:00 AM NDT 19 September 2014 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today low 1004 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday low 990 mb located over eastern Labrador
Sea.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 989 mb located over Hudson Bay.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Saturday low 993 mb located over northern Quebec.

By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday ridge located on a line east-west over
Nova Scotia.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:56 AM NDT 19 September 2014 A low pressure system currently over Belle Isle Bank will continue to
deepen as it tracks northeastward to lie over the East Labrador Sea
by early Saturday morning. Behind this low, strong to gale force
northwesterlies are expected to develop over northern waters near
midnight.

A second low pressure system is expected to track eastward across
Northern Quebec on Saturday. Strong to gale force southwesterlies are
forecast to develop over western waters south of this system on
Saturday afternoon.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest
Coast and Belle Isle Bank.
