Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:54 PM NST 26 November 2014 A low pressure system will continue to track eastward to lie
southeast of Greenland by this evening. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies behind the low will diminish by tonight as it moves
A weak trough presently over Hudson Strait will move northeastward to
lie just north of the Northwest Labrador Sea by tonight. Strong to
gale force westerly winds will develop over northern waters tonight
as it approaches.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south, North
Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and the Northwest Labrador Sea -
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Mid Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale, the North
Labrador Coast, and the Northwest Labrador Sea.
